Cyber Zscaler Network Security Engineer / Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview In this role you help modernize enterprise network security with cloud-based Zscaler solutions, guiding design, deployment, and optimization across on-prem and cloud environments. You will work within the Cyber Enterprise Security team to deliver secure, scalable zero-trust transformations for large organizations. The role blends hands-on engineering with client advisory to strengthen security posture and user experience while accelerating secure digital transformation. A strong emphasis is placed on collaboration, leadership of workstreams, and clear guidance to stakeholders. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) for enterprise clients * Lead and support zero trust (ZTNA) transformations, including VPN modernization * Configure and tune Zscaler security features (policy admin, SSL/TLS inspection, ATP, DLP, cloud traffic inspection) * Implement branch, cloud, and application connectors across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Create technical deliverables and client recommendations aligned with security, network transformation, and operations * Define and review Zscaler security policies (rule bases, lifecycle, RBAC) and integrate with identity providers * Deploy Zscaler Cloud Connector and ZDTE, including cloud workloads and integrations with cloud constructs (VPCs, VNets) * Integrate Zscaler with SIEM/SOAR (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, XSOAR) and leverage automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * Support data-driven security decisions using ZDX and AI-driven policy recommendations * Provide clear guidance to clients and lead project workstreams when required Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * 5+ years in network security engineering * 5+ years hands-on ZIA/ZPA experience in large environments * 3+ years configuring SSL/TLS inspection and DLP policies in ZIA * 1+ years with Zscaler Branch Connector and Cloud Connector deployments * 1+ years deploying Zscaler Cloud Connector in cloud environments * 3+ years implementing advanced Zscaler security features (ATP, IPS, CBI, DLP) * 3+ years integrating Zscaler with SIEM/SOAR tools * Experience with cloud providers and VPN replacement architectures * Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * ZDTE certification required * Willingness to travel up to 50% Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Accommodation for disabilities
