Cyber Zscaler Network Security Engineer / Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant, you help clients modernize network security by implementing cloud-delivered zero trust architectures. You will design, deploy, and optimize Zscaler capabilities across complex enterprises, strengthening security posture and enabling secure transformation across on-premises and cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful security solutions that scale with clients’ digital journeys. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic guidance to drive measurable security improvements. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) across large client environments * Support ZTNA transformations by replacing legacy VPNs and modernizing access controls * Configure and optimize Zscaler security features (policy admin, SSL/TLS inspection, ATP, DLP, cloud traffic inspection) * Implement branch, cloud, and application connector architectures across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Develop technical deliverables, solution designs, and client-facing recommendations aligned to security and network transformation * Lead and participate in project/workstream activities with cross-functional teams * Provide clear guidance and maintain high-quality work products with attention to detail * Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Build and sustain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders Tasks * BA/BS degree in a technical field * Zscaler Digital Transformation Engineer (ZDTE) certification * 5+ years in network security engineering * 5+ years hands-on ZIA deployment experience (web filtering, DNS security, cloud firewall, etc.) * 5+ years hands-on ZPA deployment experience (application segment config, access policies, connectors) * 1+ year experience with Zscaler Branch Connector (BGP/static routing, segmentation) * 1+ year experience with Zscaler Cloud Connector in cloud environments * 3+ years configuring Zscaler advanced security features (CBI, ATP, IPS, DLP) * 3+ years SSL/TLS inspection design and troubleshooting in ZIA * 1+ year experience with Zscaler AI-powered capabilities and ZDX * 3+ years defining and managing Zscaler security policies (RBAC, policy lifecycle) * Experience implementing ZIdentity and cloud connectors in AWS/GCP/Azure * 3+ years deploying ZPA connectors in cloud-native architectures * Experience integrating Zscaler with SIEM/SOAR (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, XSOAR) * Experience with Zscaler APIs and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * Ability to travel up to 50% * Ability to translate technical concepts for executive stakeholders Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program
