Workday HCM Functional Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead Workday functional implementations within Deloitte’s HR Strategy & Technology team, focusing on enabling human capital strategies through robust configuration and client collaboration. You will translate business needs into functional designs, guide workshops, and oversee testing, deployment, and stabilization to deliver measurable workforce improvements. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to produce impactful deliverables and help clients transform their HR capabilities. This is a growth-focused opportunity to shape large-scale HR technology programs and drive value for Fortune 500 and similar clients. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Workday functional implementation, enhancement, and optimization activities * Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs and configurations * Facilitate client meetings to align on scope and priorities * Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and stabilization activities * Prepare deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * 4+ years supporting or leading Workday HCM implementation or optimization projects * 4+ years leading workstreams in Workday with knowledge in 2+ HCM areas (e.g., HCM configuration, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, Talent) * Experience participating in at least 2 end-to-end Workday implementations * Ability to travel 50% on average * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * broad range of benefits * professional development * inclusive culture * mentorship * career growth * flexible opportunities
