Experteer Overview As a Senior Data Scientist at SFL Scientific, part of Deloitte’s Strategy & Transactions, you define data strategy and drive the development of AI tools and services for clients. You collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex R&D problems, from cancer detection to autonomous systems, shaping next-generation AI solutions. You’ll lead AI strategy, validate models, and ensure production-ready deployments that deliver measurable business impact. This role offers exposure to high-impact projects within a trusted consulting environment. Compensation / Benefits * Guide clients with autonomous AI strategy and development, from exploration to production deployment * Lead initiatives to deliver AI/ML solutions, with long-term maintenance and strategic objectives * Research and implement novel ML approaches, optimizing training, architectures, and hardware * Validate models through code reviews, unit and integration tests * Support prioritization of performance and model development to maximize business impact * Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, project managers, and business teams to align with objectives Tasks * Master’s or PhD in a relevant STEM field * 3+ years of AI/ML algorithm development using core data science languages and frameworks (Python, PyTorch) and data analysis (NLP, time-series, CV) * 3+ years applying traditional ML and deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, GANs) in production * 3+ years deploying ML models with Kubernetes, Docker, TensorRT/Trion, RAPIDs, Kubeflow, MLflow * 3+ years leveraging cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy AI/ML workloads * Live within commuting distance to a Deloitte consulting office and willing to travel ~10% Key requirements *
