Senior Data Scientist Engineer - SFL Scientific

Experteer Overview In this role you will guide clients on AI strategy, develop and deploy advanced ML solutions, and help build next-gen data products as part of a fast-growing Deloitte AI practice. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to understand client data and strategic needs, explore data opportunities, and design long-term, value-driven AI solutions. You will lead projects, validate models, and ensure impactful delivery that advances clients’ transformation journeys. This role offers hands-on technical leadership in a consulting setting with cutting-edge applications across healthcare, autonomous systems, and consumer tech. Compensation / Benefits * Guide clients with autonomous AI strategy and development, from exploratory analysis to production deployment * Lead initiatives to deliver AI/ML solutions, including thought leadership and long-term maintenance * Research and implement novel ML approaches and optimizations for training, design, and hardware * Validate AI models via code reviews, tests, and deployment validation * Support prioritization of project performance and ensure solutions maximize business impact * Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, project managers, and business teams to align delivery with objectives Tasks * Master’s or PhD in a relevant STEM field * 3+ years in AI/ML algorithm development using core data science languages and frameworks (Python, PyTorch) with NLP, time-series, CV * 3+ years applying traditional ML and deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, GANs) in production * 3+ years deploying and optimizing ML models using Kubernetes, Docker, TensorRT/Trion, RAPIDs, Kubeflow, MLflow * 3+ years leveraging cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy AI/ML workloads * Ability to travel ~10% and reside within commuting distance to Deloitte offices * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
