Job description

Experteer Overview As M&A IT Manager, you help clients navigate IT aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, shaping integration and separation strategies and driving execution across deal milestones. You operate within the M&A I&D team under Strategy & Transactions, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to assess technology, risks, and future-state roadmaps. You will deliver client-ready artifacts and lead junior team members, enabling successful Day 1 and long-term transitions. This role offers impact in shaping IT post-deal architecture and operating models within a dynamic, client-focused environment. Compensation / Benefits * Lead IT due diligence, integration, separation, and transformation workstreams across M&A and divestitures * Assess client technology environments, identify risks, and develop Day 1, TSA, and long-term transition plans * Manage project plans, deliverables, status reporting, and cross-functional coordination with business, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and applications stakeholders * Develop client-ready materials such as assessments, operating models, roadmaps, and executive presentations * Coach junior team members, manage workstream execution, and support business development and practice-building activities Tasks * Bachelor’s degree (6+ years in M&A IT delivery or equivalent) * 6+ years leading IT due diligence, integration, separation, or transformation workstreams * 6+ years assessing enterprise applications, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, and IT operating model impacts in transactions * 6+ years developing integration plans, TSA inputs, and Day 1/Day 100 roadmaps * 6+ years managing project plans, deliverables, stakeholder meetings, and executive status reporting * 6+ years consulting or industry experience; MBA with 4+ years also acceptable * Ability to travel ~50% Key requirements *
