3rd Line Engineer

We’re partnered with a well-established MSP specialising in supporting schools and education organisations, providing a broad range of modern IT, infrastructure, cloud, and technology services. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join their technical team., This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across complex technical environments and wants genuine exposure to infrastructure projects rather than being limited to traditional support. You’ll act as a senior escalation point, working across customer environments while helping deliver infrastructure improvements and technical solutions.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to a hybrid technology stack, working across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, virtualisation, security, and modern cloud technologies. You’ll also be involved in project delivery, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and technical troubleshooting, giving you plenty of variety in your day-to-day work.

The role also offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and customers, developing your technical and consultancy skills while building towards more senior infrastructure and project-focused positions., * Exposure to Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid technologies

• Strong experience working in a 3rd Line IT Support / Infrastructure role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server & Active Directory
• Experience supporting Azure and cloud-based technologies
• Strong networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switching, routing and firewalls
• Experience with virtualisation and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Strong troubleshooting and technical escalation experience
• Experience delivering or supporting IT infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• MSP experience is highly desirable
• Education / School MSP experience would be highly advantageous
