Service Now Developer

the role involves acting as a third line of support for the ServiceNow platform, addressing customer inquiries and support needs.

core duties include:

• resolving incidents on customer ServiceNow instances within agreed-upon SLA timelines.
• implementing customer-defined changes, utilizing both out-of-the-box features and custom development as required.
• conducting root cause analysis for both new and existing problems. this includes thoroughly documenting findings, technical solutions, or workarounds, always considering the platform’s long-term health and future roadmap.
• creating detailed technical documentation for all work completed on the platform, specifically related to the above-mentioned ITSM workstreams.
• coaching customers resources and providing sound advice with the platform best interest in mind

a successful candidate must possess:

• proficiency in written and verbal French.
• working knowledge of English
• Dutch is a plus
• the ability to work in Luxembourg.
• one of the following certification combinations:
• at least one certified implementation specialist (cis) certification.
• and either certified application developer (cad) certification with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• or certified system administrator (csa) certification with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• proficiency in JavaScript to implement required customizations and alter baseline scripts

highly desirable skills

the following experience and conceptual understanding would be a significant asset:

• conceptual understanding of the CMDB and the CSDM framework.
• working experience with ITOM discovery.
• conceptual understanding of the MID server and discovery tools.
• itil or itil4 foundation certification.
• working knowledge of the ServiceNow portal (html, css, bootstrap)
