Job description
As a Data Analyst Senior on the Catastrophe Analytics team (CAT) within the Catastrophe Modeling Research & Development (R&D) department, youâll support a fast-paced environment and routinely manage multiple priorities. In this high visibility role, youâll handle ad-hoc requests, evaluate complex âwhat ifâ scenarios, and work with large, complex datasets to support catastrophe modeling and high-impact business decisions. Youâll help assess risk, support the allocation of reinsurance costs and capital, and provide impactful reporting & data visualization solutions. Youâll also contribute to ongoing data migration and architecture efforts, helping modernize systems and support scalable cloud-based solutions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software architecture?, Do you have a Bachelorâs degree?, * A minimum of six years of analytical work experience.
- {OR} Bachelorâs degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience.
- {OR} Bachelorâs degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience.
Preferred skills
- Advanced proficiency in software tools such as Snowflake, SQL, R, and Python.
- Advanced usage of data visualization tools such as: Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS
- Experience with industry-leading catastrophe modeling software such as AIR, KCC, or RMS, Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need or potential need, of current or future sponsorship for employment.
