Job description
- Act as the first point of contact for all IT issues on-site, supporting approximately 70 active users plus drivers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and basic networking
- Support remote/home workers with VPN and connectivity issues
- Escalate complex issues appropriately, while taking ownership through to resolution
- Provision and deprovision users in Microsoft 365, managing mailboxes, Teams, and permissions
- Build and deploy devices using Intune/Autopilot (or similar)
- Maintain accurate records of devices, licenses, and user access
- Enforce basic IT policies and standards related to passwords, access, and security best practice
- Build, configure, and repair PCs and small form-factor devices
- Manage stock of spare equipment to minimize issues
- Set up and manage mobile phones for drivers and staff
- Support and maintain local infrastructure, including office Wi-Fi and security systems
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, preparing equipment and access
- Keep documentation and asset lists up to date, suggesting improvements for recurring issues
- Support small IT projects and development work as needed

Requirements
- Solid 1st/2nd line support experience in a Windows environment
- Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 desktop support
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, basic admin)
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN concepts)
- Experience with printers, Wi-Fi, and general office connectivity issues
- Comfortable building and troubleshooting PCs and laptops (hardware swaps, diagnostics)
- Strong people skills to communicate effectively with users at all levels
- Organised and proactive, with an ability to maintain structure around kit, stock, and processes
- Comfortable working independently on-site and taking ownership of workload
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
